Joyce Vance
Joyce Alene Vance (born July 22, 1960) is an American lawyer, author, and legal analyst who served as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama from 2009 to 2017, appointed by President Barack Obama.[2][1] She previously worked 18 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and now teaches as a Distinguished Professor of the Practice at the University of Alabama School of Law while contributing as a senior fellow at the Brennan Center and MSNBC legal analyst.[1][3]
