Joy Packer

Joy Packer (born Joy Petersen) was a South African novelist and travel writer, known for her autobiographical and romantic adventure novels. Born and educated in Cape Town, she graduated as a journalist from the University of Cape Town and initially worked as a freelance journalist. Her debut novel was 'Valley of the Vines', and she published several works between 1955 and 1977.
