Josh Malerman

Josh Malerman is an American novelist, short story writer, songwriter, and musician best known for his horror novel Bird Box (2014), which inspired the Netflix film starring Sandra Bullock. Before its publication, he wrote fourteen unpublished novels and is also a singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist for the rock band The High Strung. He founded the production company Spin a Black Yarn in 2020 and lives in Michigan with his fiancée, artist-musician Allison Laakko.[1][2][3]
