Joseph S. Moore is an author, historian, and speaker whose work focuses on American financial history and the lessons people have drawn from money, risk, and wealth over time. His upcoming HarperCollins book, "How to Get Rich in American History," explores 300 years of financial advice in the United States, and he has also published with Oxford University Press.
