Joseph Hamburger
Joseph Hamburger (1922–1997) was an American historian and scholar of political theory, best known for his work on 19th-century British intellectual history. He taught at Yale University for 35 years and wrote influential studies on James Mill, John Stuart Mill, and Thomas Macaulay.
