Joseph Bingham

Joseph Bingham (1668–1723) was an English scholar and Anglican divine best known for his work on ecclesiastical history, especially his multi-volume scholarly study of the early church. He was educated at Oxford and served as a fellow and tutor at University College, later becoming a notable theological writer.
