Joseph A West

Joseph A. West grew up in a small fishing village in Scotland, where he developed a passion for Westerns from cinema heroes like Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and Hopalong Cassidy, aspiring to become a cowboy.[1][2] He pursued careers in law enforcement as a police officer in Saltcoats at age 19 and journalism, working for the Daily Mirror and The National Enquirer in the US, before becoming a Western fiction author.[1][2][6] He resides in Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife Emily and daughter, enjoying horse riding, cowboy action shooting, and Western history studies.[1][2]
