Jorge Otero-Pailos

Jorge Otero-Pailos is a Madrid-born artist, preservation architect, theorist, and educator known for experimental preservation practices and for founding the journal *Future Anterior*. He is best known for *The Ethics of Dust*, an ongoing series of artworks that casts pollution and surface residues from monuments, and he teaches in Columbia University’s Historic Preservation Program.
