Jonathan Safran Foer
Jonathan Safran Foer is an American novelist and non-fiction writer born on February 21, 1977, in Washington D.C. He is best known for his novels 'Everything Is Illuminated' (2002) and 'Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close' (2005), as well as his non-fiction works exploring ethics and environmentalism, including 'Eating Animals' (2009) and 'We Are the Weather' (2019). He teaches creative writing at New York University and has won numerous literary awards including the Guardian First Book Prize and the National Jewish Book Award.
