Jon Favreau

Jonathan Kolia Favreau (born October 19, 1966, Queens, New York, U.S.) is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who first gained success with the semi-autobiographical film Swingers (1996), which he wrote and starred in.[1][2] He directed hit films including Elf (2003), Iron Man (2008), The Jungle Book (2016), and The Lion King (2019), and created the Star Wars series The Mandalorian.[1][2][4] Favreau has worked extensively with Disney on Marvel's Iron Man and Avengers films as well as Star Wars projects.[1]
