Johnson

Samuel Johnson (1709–1784) was an English writer, poet, essayist, critic, and lexicographer, best known for his 'A Dictionary of the English Language' (1755). He made significant contributions to English literature through works like 'The Vanity of Human Wishes' and 'Lives of the Most Eminent English Poets.' Often called Dr. Johnson, he is regarded as one of the central figures of 18th-century British life and letters.[2][3]
