John Ward Dean

John Ward Dean (1781–1837), also known as 'Zion Ward,' was an English mystic and author born at the Cove of Cork (now Queenstown). He is best known for his mystical writings and autobiographical accounts of his life, which included apprenticeship to a shipwright and periods of bad habits before his death in Leeds.
