John Uri Lloyd

John Uri Lloyd was an American pharmacist, chemist, inventor, and novelist best known as a leader in the eclectic medicine movement and an influence on pharmacognosy and herbalism. He also wrote locally inspired novels, including works based on the Florence, Kentucky area, and helped found the Lloyd Library & Museum in Cincinnati.
