John T Moore
John Thomas Moore (1844–1917) was a Canadian accountant, businessman, and politician known for his role in promoting western Canadian settlement. He served as managing director of the Saskatchewan Land and Homestead Company, leading colonists to Crescent Lake, Saskatchewan in 1883, and authored *The settlers’ guide to homesteads in the Canadian north-west* (1884). Later, he developed Toronto suburbs through the Toronto Belt Land Corporation, though it ended in bankruptcy in 1892.[2][3]
