John Stillwell
John Colin Stillwell is an Australian mathematician and historian of mathematics, born in 1942 in Melbourne, Australia. He has held professorships at Monash University and the University of San Francisco, and earned his PhD from MIT in 1970 under Hartley Rogers, Jr. His work focuses on logic, set theory, and the history of mathematical thought.
