John Stanley
John Stanley (March 22, 1914 – November 11, 1993) was an American cartoonist and comic book writer best known for writing the Little Lulu comic book stories from 1945 to 1959[1][4]. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2004 and received the Inkpot Award, Will Eisner Hall of Fame honor, and Bill Finger Award for his influential work in comics[1][4]. Stanley died of esophageal cancer in Sleepy Hollow, New York, at the age of 79[1].
