John R Hume

John R. Hume is a Scottish architectural and business historian, author, and photographer known for his work on industrial archaeology and historic buildings. He spent 20 years lecturing at the University of Strathclyde before serving as an inspector of ancient monuments and historic buildings for Historic Scotland, and he has published extensively on Scotland’s industrial heritage.
