John R. Gutierrez

John R. Gutiérrez is a professor at the University of Mississippi, where he joined the faculty in 2000 to teach and mentor students at the Croft Institute for International Studies while developing Spanish-language programs. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanities education, he was named UM Humanities Teacher of the Year. His academic work focuses on international studies and Spanish language instruction.
