John Parker
John Parker (1939–2019) was a New Zealand writer whose work spanned children's literature, journalism, radio scripts, and reviewing. Born in Christchurch, he studied English and History at the University of Auckland and later worked in teaching and lecturing before becoming a full-time writer.
