John Oxenham
John Oxenham was the pen name of William Arthur Dunkerley, a prolific English writer, poet, journalist, and hymn writer born in 1852. He is best known for his inspirational novels, poetry collections like the bestselling 'Bees in Amber' (1913), and works infused with Christian themes. Dunkerley also wrote under the name Julian Ross for journalism and served as mayor of Worthing, dying in 1941.
