John O. Whitaker

Dr. John O. Whitaker, Jr. is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biology at Indiana State University who has conducted nearly 50 years of mammal research. He is a distinguished naturalist and prolific researcher who has produced more than 400 scientific articles, reviews, book chapters, and books, earning him the Indiana Academy of Science's Distinguished Scholar Award.
