John O. Bird

John O. Bird is a chartered engineer, mathematician, and scientist with over 45 years of experience teaching and lecturing in engineering and mathematical subjects. He is the author of more than 130 textbooks, including the widely used 'Bird's Comprehensive Engineering Mathematics,' with worldwide sales exceeding one million copies. He has served as Head of Applied Electronics at Highbury College, Portsmouth, and continues to lecture at the Defence College of Marine and Air Engineering.
