John Malam
John Malam is a British historian, archaeologist, and prolific author of over 200 children's non-fiction books, focusing on ancient civilizations, history, and archaeology. Born in 1957 in Wolverhampton, England, he studied Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Birmingham, worked as a museum archaeologist at Ironbridge Gorge Museum from 1980-1982, edited for publishers until 1989, and has been a full-time author since 1994. He lives in Cheshire, north-west England.[1][2][3]
