John MacArthur

John Fullerton MacArthur Jr. (1939–2025) was an American Calvinistic Baptist pastor, theologian, author, and broadcaster, best known as the longtime pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California from 1969 until his death. He founded the Grace to You radio and television ministry and served as chancellor emeritus of The Master's University and Seminary. MacArthur authored or edited over 150 books, including the bestselling MacArthur Study Bible, and was a leading advocate for expository preaching.
