John M. Gottman is a renowned American psychologist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Washington, celebrated for his four decades of research on marital stability and his ability to predict divorce with over 90% accuracy. He co-founded The Gottman Institute with his wife, Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, and is the author of the best-selling book 'The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work' along with over 200 academic articles and 40 books.
