John Leach
John Leech (1817-1864) was an English caricaturist and illustrator who became one of the foremost contributors to Punch magazine during the Victorian era. He is notable for creating artwork for Charles Dickens' popular works, most famously the illustrations for A Christmas Carol. Leech studied medicine at St Bartholomew's in London before pursuing his career in art and illustration.
