JOHN LE CARRE
John le Carré, the pseudonym of David John Moore Cornwell (1931–2020), was a British author renowned for his espionage novels that offered realistic portrayals of Cold War intelligence work. His breakthrough novel, The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1963), became a bestseller and introduced his iconic character George Smiley, featured in works like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (1974) and Smiley's People (1980).[1][2]
