John Kratz

John Philip Kratz, father of John Valentine Kratz, was born in Germany on October 8, 1665, and died there in 1746 at age 80. He is recognized as the progenitor of the Kratz family in America through his son John Valentine Kratz. He authored 'A Brief History of John Valentine Kratz, and a Complete Genealogical Family Register with Biographies of His Descendants' published in 1892.
