John Kinsella

John Kinsella is an Australian poet, essayist, novelist, and editor born in Perth, Western Australia, in 1963, known for his experimental and pastoral poetry reflecting the landscapes and cultural diversity of Western Australia.[1][3][4][5] Author of over forty books, including poetry collections like *Firebreaks* (2016) and novels such as *Hollow Earth* (2019), he has received awards including the Grace Leven Prize for Poetry, the John Bray Award, and the Western Australian Premier’s Book Award.[1][2][5] A Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge University, he has taught at institutions like Kenyon College and Curtin University, and lives in the Western Australian Wheatbelt.[1][2][3]
