John Keene
John Keene is an American writer, translator, professor, and artist born in 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the author of works including *Annotations*, *Counternarratives*, and *Punks: New & Selected Poems*, and he has taught at Rutgers University–Newark; he received a MacArthur Fellowship in 2018 and won the 2022 National Book Award for Poetry.
