John Henry Jowett
John Henry Jowett (1863–1923) was an influential British Protestant minister, preacher, and author of devotional books on Christian living, renowned as one of the early 20th century's most gifted pulpit orators[1][3]. Warren W. Wiersbe called him 'The greatest preacher in the English-speaking world,' and he served in prominent churches across England and New York City before returning to London[1][3]. He was made a Companion of Honour in 1922 and died in December 1923 at age 60[1][4].
