John Haycraft

John Stacpoole Haycraft (1926–1996) was a British educator, teacher-trainer, and writer who co-founded the International House World Organisation with his wife, Brita, in 1953. He helped pioneer practical English-language teacher training and also wrote travel and cultural books, including 'Babel in Spain' and 'Italian Labyrinth'.
