John Grisham
John Grisham is an American writer, lawyer, and former politician, best known for his legal thrillers such as A Time to Kill, The Firm, and The Pelican Brief, which have sold over 300 million copies worldwide.[1][6] Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, in 1955, he practiced law and served as a Mississippi state representative before achieving success as a novelist after witnessing a trial that inspired his debut novel.[2][4] He continues to publish bestsellers and advocates for criminal justice reform through works like The Innocent Man and his involvement with the Innocence Project.[3]
