John Grigg
John Grigg (1924–2001), also known as Lord Altrincham, was a prominent British conservative writer, historian, and politician renowned for his acclaimed three-volume biography of David Lloyd George and his controversial criticism of Queen Elizabeth II. He served as the second Baron Altrincham from 1955 until he renounced the title in 1963 under the Peerage Act, later becoming a significant voice in British public discourse similar to William F. Buckley Jr. in the United States.
