John Gilman

John Gilman is an author and journalist from Honolulu, Hawaii, who began writing the Village Voice centerfold in the 1970s with his life partner Robert Heide. He later co-authored pop-culture books and guidebooks, and has also written works on biblical topics; he has lectured at San Diego State University and the Franciscan School of Theology.
