John Gill
John Gill (1697–1771) was an English Particular Baptist theologian, biblical scholar, and minister from Kettering, Northamptonshire. He was a prolific author whose best-known works include extensive verse-by-verse commentaries on the Old and New Testaments, as well as major theological treatises such as The Doctrine of the Trinity Stated and Vindicated and A Body of Divinity.
