John G. Webster
John G. Webster was an American electrical engineer and a founding pioneer in the field of biomedical engineering, serving as Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering. He was one of the founding fathers of biomedical engineering and received the IEEE James H. Mulligan Jr. Educational Medal in 2019 for his career contributions. Professor Webster died on March 29, 2023.
