John G. Cottingham
John G. Cottingham is an English philosopher known for his work on early-modern philosophy, especially Descartes, as well as moral philosophy and the philosophy of religion. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Reading and an Honorary Fellow of St John's College, Oxford, and has also been active as an editor, translator, and author of numerous books and articles.
