John Finnigan

John Finnigan is an Australian atmospheric scientist known for his work on atmospheric turbulence over complex and vegetated surfaces. According to the Australian Academy of Science, he is a primary author of the standard model of turbulent structure over plant canopies and has made major contributions to understanding land-air exchange and gravity wave-turbulence interaction.[1]
