John Farndon
John Farndon, born in 1960, is a British writer, playwright, lyricist, composer, and literary translator known for his extensive work in non-fiction, particularly science books for children, with over a thousand books authored on diverse topics.[1][2] A Londoner with wide-ranging intellectual interests from chemistry to China, he has been shortlisted multiple times for the Young People’s Science Book Prize and won awards for translating Russian and Central Asian literature, including the European Bank Literary Prize 2019.[1][2][3]
