John Eldredge
John Eldredge (born June 6, 1960) is an American author, counselor, and lecturer known for his bestselling book Wild at Heart, which explores Christian masculinity. He earned a degree in theater from California Polytechnic University and a master's in counseling from Colorado Christian University, later founding the Wild at Heart ministry (also known as Ransomed Heart) in 2000 with his wife Stasi in Colorado Springs. Eldredge has authored numerous books on spirituality, relationships with God, and personal recovery, including The Sacred Romance and Captivating.
