John Daido Loori
John Daido Loori (1931–2009) was an American Zen Buddhist roshi, photographer, and author who served as abbot of Zen Mountain Monastery. He founded the Mountains and Rivers Order and was known for bringing Zen practice into conversation with art, nature, and modern media.[1][2]
