John D. Kasarda

John D. Kasarda is an American academic and airport-economy consultant best known for developing the aerotropolis concept, which emphasizes the role of airports in shaping urban growth. He has held faculty and leadership roles at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and has also led Aerotropolis Business Concepts LLC and the Aerotropolis Institute in China.
