John Currence
John Currence is an American chef, restaurateur, and author best known for founding City Grocery Restaurant Group in Oxford, Mississippi, and for his cookbooks, including 'Pickles, Pigs & Whiskey' and 'Big Bad Breakfast.' Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, he built his career around Southern cooking and later became active in nonprofit work focused on childhood hunger through Move On Up Mississippi.
