John Cleese

John Marwood Cleese, born on October 27, 1939, in Weston-super-Mare, England, is an English actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer best known as a founding member of the Monty Python comedy troupe, co-creator of the sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus, and star and writer of the iconic sitcom Fawlty Towers. He has appeared in Monty Python films such as Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Life of Brian (1979), and The Meaning of Life (1983), and earned acclaim for his Academy Award-nominated screenplay for A Fish Called Wanda (1988).
