John Christopher Malcolm Baynes

Sir John Christopher Malcolm Baynes, 7th Baronet (1928-2005) was a British military historian and former Lieutenant Colonel in H.M. Forces. His first book, Morale: A Study of Men and Courage (1967), is regarded as a classic of modern military history. He authored numerous works on military history and biography, including studies of the Jacobite Rising of 1715 and biographies of notable military figures.
