John Christopher Jones

John Christopher Jones (1948–2025) was an American actor known for his work in film, stage, and television, including his Broadway debut in Simon Gray’s Otherwise Engaged directed by Harold Pinter in 1977 and roles in films like Moonstruck, Awakenings, and The Village.[1][2][4] A founding member of Shakespeare & Company, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 but continued performing until late in life.[2][5] He served as an Associate Director of the Depot Theatre and adapted works like Shaw’s An Unsocial Socialist for the stage.[1]
