John Burningham
John Burningham (1936–2019) was an acclaimed English author and illustrator of children's picture books, renowned for his wit, humor, and distinctive artwork. He won the Kate Greenaway Medal twice, in 1963 for *Borka: The Adventures of a Goose with No Feathers* and in 1970 for *Mr Gumpy's Outing*, which also received the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award. He authored and illustrated over 50 books and collaborated with his wife, Helen Oxenbury, on works like *There's Going to Be a New Baby* (2011).[1][3]
