John Burgman

John Burgman is a freelance writer specializing in competition climbing, reporting for publications like Climbing, Climbing Business Journal, and Gym Climber. He is the author of three books, including the upcoming 'High Drama' on the history of American competition climbing, and is a former magazine editor, Fulbright grant recipient, and graduate of New York University's MFA program. He is also the grandson of Camp Voyageur's founder and served as a camper and counselor there.
