John Brockman
John Brockman is a cultural impresario and literary agent whose career spans the avant-garde art world, science, books, software, and the Internet. Originally from south Boston, he founded Brockman, Inc. in 1973, representing leading scientists like Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett, and established the influential online salon Edge.org to promote cutting-edge scientific ideas. He is also a prolific author and editor of the Edge Question book series.
